Free printable homemade goodness labels

Are you planning on getting your hands messy in the kitchen making wedding favors or holiday gifts? If so, I made two sets of customizable labels for your savory or sweet treats for the wonderful wedding blog A Practical Wedding. As always, it was super fun to make something just for their audience, as it is totally ours as well—light-hearted but spiritual, filled with common sense and a tendency to take that grain of salt with everything and say "Yum, salty!". Salty broads and boys.

There are two styles, a classic one on a soft chalkboard-y background here, and one inspired by old woodblock stamped labels here. You can personalize them not only with the name of your goody, but also with a date or little message, and your initials down below.

If you're making something for the holidays you can pretend you are an old-timey food shop and write "Est." up top and the season it was made in. Or if they are for a wedding you can always do "Wed on..." and then the date below to commemorate the celebration.

The Monsters Issue is here!

It's here! View online on Issuu here, or download and print it out for keeps. I'm so excited I can't even write about it now. I'm nervous like a first date.

Printable Autumn Leaves

You know how you always have a last minutes gift you have to wrap up, and you have the gift, but nothing special to wrap it with? Well here are some watercolor leaves for your autumn wrapping, special enough that you don't even need fancy paper or ribbon underneath. Download them here, and then just print, cut out, and punch a hole at the bottom. To make them even better I folded them down the middle and then curled the sides. Voila, write a note on the back and impress them. Without telling them how easy it is.

July 4th Pinwheel

A last minute decorative idea.

There are stars, there are stripes, there is red white and blue, but twist them up into baby blue and hot orange because sometimes being literal to patriotic colors is just too predictable. Unpredict with gaiety and childishness.

Go here to download, print, and put together.

Valentine's Day paper fortune teller

Need a last minute lil' something to add to your honey's Valentine's Day? Here is a little free printable from us to you, a Valentine's Day paper fortune teller! (And, I just discovered, also known as a "Cootie Catcher")

Click here to find and download the PDF template, then just print, cut, and fold! There is a version with things that we think a loved one would like (who wouldn't want to pick any movie they want?) but there is a second page with spaces where you can write in your own inventive surprises.

Gift tags from us to you!

I personally am going to be wrapping all my gifts on Christmas Eve, if not Christmas morning. Thank heavens August is only 8 months old and will not be jumping up and down on our bed at some freakish hour demanding we get up and let him start opening presents.

And here are the tags I will be hastily printing and cutting out! Just print, cut, and punch a hole, then tie up with string. You can download them here!
