On compromise

This is our bed before it's made. I like the sheet tucked in, Paul likes it untucked, so that he can wrap himself in the blankets like a cocoon. Every morning I make sure that this is how the sheet is done below the blankets.

Small compromises can be a gift from one beloved to another.
