The Impractical Mother's Day Gift series

Crocheted mushrooms and jellyfish.

Do you know what are wonderful Mother's Day gifts? Things that have absolutely nothing to do with motherdom. Or at least that's what I think. Because a lot of motherdom is very practical, very difficult, or very silly in a way that is completely unreproducible. So I started pondering completely silly impractical objects insteady of mother-y perfume-y jewelry-y gifts. I remembered a crocheted coral sculpture I saw once at Cog & Pearl. Well I searched around and it was by Jessica Polka, who sells crochet patterns for wackadoodle Cabinet of Curiosities-esque objects. If I crocheted I would get these and make them.
