Where did the snow go?

I have been suffering from anti-seasonal affected disorder. This mild NYC winter has got me blue blue blue. I am a lover of down comforters and hibernating and hot toddies, and all I get is 45 degree weather that yes allows me to continue exercising in the park but oh... I miss snow. So when Paul told me last night with glee (literally rubbing his hands together in glee) that we would be playing in the snow today, I was so thrilled. And then today happened. Three to five inches of snow got quickly downgraded to "wintry mix".

So this is a painting I found to help me inhabit winter in my heart.
