Marshmallow Snow!

Hello 2012! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year celebration? We had a quiet one, but those are sometimes the ones I love most. Contemplative, cozy, wine-filled and one little tinkling clink of the glass. So hello 2012, I wonder what you will bring... The first thing you bring is winter, and I love winter. Hibernation plus dark nights full of movies and drawing in front of the tv. I know. A little weird.

But here is an amazing image that shows a different un-dark way to celebrate winter, which was from a photo shoot by the team Wednesday (which I just discovered—all the wonderful artists out there I don't know!).

I want to make this out of white pom-poms and keep it up all winter. Or have a winter festival party. Or next year a Solstice party which I always intend to do and then always run out of time. How does winter go so fast for some, and so slowly for others?
