First Post!

There are a lot of things in the works at A Printable Press, and we've decided it's about darn time that we started a blog. This blog will not be your typical attached-to-a-business-blog where we just write about what we're now offering or how to get you to buy our stuff. Sure we will occasionally post some big news or things in the works we're particularly proud of (stay tuned for some exciting news). But mostly this is an experiment on gathering our thoughts, things that inspire us, and asking what inspires you. We want to hear what you think should be out there in the world of printed matter.

We constantly seek out inspiration, both from external sources and from our dear customers. We recently did a giveaway on A Practical Wedding where we asked for ideas for new party invitations. The answers that came flooding in were so inspirational—I had no idea how many foodies there were out there, so devoted to food that they want to shout out their love. Chickens! Artichokes! Citrus! How amazing are people that they appreciate the little things to that degree. What feeds our bodies should be appreciated that much. 

Oh and by the way, if you do not know about A Practical Wedding you must go there immediately. It is a sassy and frank look at weddings and what it means to be a life-partner or embarking on being a life-partner. Read it. The author Meg is fantastic.

So here we go, a blank slate, terrifying and electrifying.
