I have a passion for children's books. I mean a deep burning passion. My 6-month-old son's shelves are already sagging with picture books, because I've jumped at the opportunity to have one more place to store books. But I've got a little itch between my shoulder blades that says "Maybe I should take them back until he's over chewing on everything...". Because these books are precious to me.
And a wonderful thing is when you find a new one to be precious to you. And here's one—"The Book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My". This is an author/illustrator whose artwork I'd mostly known to be black and white. Lo and behold, she is a color GENIUS as well.
